       Palm oil in the world, is widely used in cooking and food manufacturing. It is used as cooking oil, crunchy fat and margarine to use. Like other edible oils, palm oil is easily digested, absorbed, and the promotion of health. Palm oil is an important ingredient in fat, moderate property, it is a good material for the manufacture of food. From the view of the combination ingredients of palm oil, it's the nature of high solids glycerol content allows food to avoid hydrogenation remained stable, and effectively resist oxidation, it is also suitable for hot climates become good seasoning of pastry and bakery products. Chemical refining: It uses strong base to neutralize most of the free fatty acid and remove in the form of soap stock, also known as alkali refining process.

Physical refining: It means taking steam distillation process of oil free fatty acids at high temperature and vacuum conditions.

Physical refining method has the following advantages: increase production capacity and refining rate, reduce production costs and shorten the processing time and can recover high-purity distilled fatty acids. Meanwhile, the physical refining method can also reduce waste water, waste gas problem. No need to deal with waste water and exhaust gas due to the soaps tock produced without chemical cleavage after refining.

    In recent years, with the continuous improvement of physical refining methods and equipment, so that the advantages of physical refining method has become increasingly evident, currently most of oil refining plants choose physical refining method to take refining of crude palm oil.

But for the purposes of soybean oil refining, chemical refining method is one of the best refining process.
